Sinai University – Arish Branch Wins Eight Awards at IDC 2026

Under the gracious patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo, Vice President of Sinai University – Arish Branch, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Moawad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry for Education and Student Affairs, students of the Faculty of Dentistry at Sinai University – Arish Branch achieved an outstanding accomplishment by winning eight awards at the 12th Egyptian Dental Schools Students Competition, held as part of the IDC 2026 Conference from October 7 to 9, 2026.
This achievement reflects Sinai University’s role as the Academic Partner and its commitment to promoting academic and practical excellence and encouraging students to participate in scientific events and competitions.
Competition Results
First Place:
• Student Mostafa Mohamed Rabie – Practical Competition in Operative Dentistry.
• Student Ahmed Amr Mohamed – Individual Theoretical Competition in Operative Dentistry.
Second Place:
• Students Malak Zakaria and Jasmine Walid – Oral Pathology Poster Competition.
Third Place:
• The Faculty team, comprising Ahmed Alaa, Mahmoud Ghanam, Amir Mamdouh, Amira Fekry, and Eman Farag – Group Theoretical Competition.
• Student Seif El-Din Khaled – Individual Theoretical Competition in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Student Mohamed Wael Mohamed – Individual Theoretical Competition in Fixed Prosthodontics.
• Student Mohamed Abdel Khaleq – Digital Dentistry Poster Competition.
• Students Haneen Ashraf and Eman Hassan Sharqawy – Case Study Poster Competition.
