Mock Evaluation Team Visits the Faculty of Pharmacy, Sinai University – Arish Branch, to Review Accreditation Readiness

Under the kind patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and Prof. Dr. Abdelhamid Abdo, Vice President of Sinai University for Education and Student Affairs – Arish Branch, and as part of the preparations of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Sinai University, Arish Branch for accreditation, as well as the Faculty’s commitment to benefiting from specialized academic expertise in quality assurance and accreditation, Prof. Dr. Lotfy Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, welcomed the mock evaluation team.
The team comprised Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abu El-Soud, Vice President of Heliopolis University, and Prof. Dr. Maha Abu Shady, Head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at Al-Azhar University, who visited the Faculty to review its readiness and preparedness for accreditation.
The visit was conducted to support the Faculty’s efforts to fulfill quality and accreditation standards and to assess the readiness of various sectors of the Faculty, in addition to reviewing procedures and practices related to academic and institutional standards.
During the visit, the mock evaluation team reviewed a number of documents, files, and practices related to accreditation standards and discussed mechanisms for fulfilling the required criteria. The team also provided observations and recommendations to support the Faculty in completing its preparations, strengthening areas of achievement, and addressing aspects requiring further development.
The mock evaluation team was received by Prof. Dr. Lotfy Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of the Faculty’s leadership and members of the Quality Assurance team. The meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and benefiting from external evaluation in supporting the Faculty’s journey toward accreditation.
This visit is part of a series of procedures and meetings undertaken by the Faculty of Pharmacy – Sinai University, Arish Branch, as part of an integrated plan to prepare for accreditation, promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, enhance academic and administrative performance, and achieve the Faculty’s strategic objectives.
