In cooperation with the Egyptian Healthcare Authority, we are pleased to announce the commencement of the reception of physical therapy students in the Authority’s health facilities in Ismailia Governorate.
On October 8th, a total of 210 physical therapy students were welcomed at the Ismailia Complex and Abu Khalifa Emergency Hospital. The students were greeted by complex directors, medical directors, and department heads, including:
Ismailia Complex: Major General Tareq Abd el Moez (medical director), Dr. Ahmed Soliman (director of the quality department), Dr. Boula Mohareb, Dr. Hisham (head of the physical therapy department).
Abu Khalifa Emergency Hospital: Dr. Ahmed Abdel Baqi (hospital director), Dr. Rami Al-Najjar (head of the infection control department), Dr. Mohamed Al-Sadeq (head of the quality department), Dr. Mena Mohamed Ali (head of the physical therapy department).
At both facilities:
Presentations were given on the Egyptian Healthcare Authority, the comprehensive health insurance system, infection control, and quality fundamentals and accreditation standards.
Meetings were held between faculty supervisors and hospital representatives to divide students into groups and maximize their learning opportunities by covering as many cases as possible.
