Sinai University Faculty of Pharmacy – Arish Branch Continues Preparations for Accreditation

Under the kind patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and Prof. Dr. Abdelhamid Abdo, Vice President of Sinai University for Education and Student Affairs – Arish Branch, and as part of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Sinai University, Arish Branch’s commitment to completing its preparations for accreditation, strengthening its quality assurance system, and enhancing the standards of academic and administrative performance, Prof. Dr. Lotfy Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, held a meeting with the Faculty’s teaching staff.
The meeting addressed a number of issues related to accreditation requirements and mechanisms for fulfilling quality standards. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mostafa Hegazy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Thanaa El-Masry, Director of the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit.
The meeting emphasized the importance of integrating the efforts of all faculty members, working as a team, and adhering to academic and institutional standards in a manner that contributes to enhancing the quality of the educational process and achieving the Faculty’s strategic objectives.
The Dean also held the second meeting with the Faculty’s assistant teaching staff, as part of the continuous follow-up and serious preparations for accreditation. The meeting reviewed a number of requirements and procedures related to the quality assurance system and emphasized the important role of the assistant teaching staff in supporting the educational and research processes and actively participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
During both meetings, Prof. Dr. Lotfy Diab emphasized the importance of the upcoming phase and the need for all members of the Faculty to work together, each in their respective role, according to a clear vision aimed at fulfilling accreditation and quality standards. This reflects the Faculty’s ongoing development across various areas.
These meetings are part of a series of meetings and activities organized by the Faculty to follow up on the implementation of its accreditation preparation plan and to promote a culture of quality among all members of the academic community, thereby supporting the Faculty of Pharmacy – Sinai University’s journey toward further excellence and institutional development.
