Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs at the Arish Campus, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lotfy Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Dr. Mostafa Hegazy, Vice Dean of the Faculty, Sinai University – Arish Campus continues its commitment to supporting its pharmacy graduates and enhancing their practical knowledge related to the pharmaceutical job market. The Continuing Pharmacy Education Committee organized a specialized lecture entitled “The Role of the Pharmacist in the Pharmaceutical Industry and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)” on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM via Zoom, lasting for 50 minutes. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohy Hafez, Chairman of the Medical Export Council and Chairman of Pioneer Pharmaceutical Industries. He discussed recent developments in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, the crucial role of pharmacists in ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical products, and key globally adopted GMP standards and practices. The session witnessed strong engagement from pharmacy graduates, who raised insightful questions about industrial pharmacy skills and professional development opportunities available in the pharmaceutical sector.

This event comes as part of a series of activities aimed at preparing graduates, enhancing their professional competencies, and strengthening their competitiveness in both the local and international job markets.
