Scientific research is one of the main pillars of the renaissance of societies and the progress of countries, and it is the cornerstone of the development of all sciences on which the fields of life depend, including industry, economy, and medical sciences. Sinai University has paid special attention to scientific research by creating an integrated research environment, as each faculty has several research laboratories. Staff members and teaching assistants carry out their own research in their faculties at Sinai University.

Sinai University also established central laboratories, which have great importance, especially in cooperation between different disciplines in the same faculty or between different faculties inside and/or from outside the university to open ways of research cooperation between Sinai University and other universities locally, regionally and internationally to produce research commensurate with the great scientific diversity that Sinai university contains. The interest in scientific research did not stop to this extent, but the university provided financial support to creative researchers and those distinguished in scientific publishing through publishing incentives. The university also established the Sinai International Science Journal (SISJ). This interest in scientific research has resulted in hundreds of research papers published globally in prestigious international journals, with high impact factors, in the specializations of pharmacology and toxicology, biochemistry, materials science, different engineering specializations, chemical engineering, medical sciences, physics, mathematics, and computer science. Scientific research is one of the main reasons for the development of societies economically, socially and environmentally. So, scientific research has been linked to sustainable development, which Egyptian country adopts in Egypt’s Vision 2030. Therefore, sustainable development was an integral part of the goals of scientific research at Sinai University as a reflection of Egypt’s Vision 2030 to achieve all the three dimensions of sustainable development. To achieve the goals of sustainable development, in addition to scientific research, there were many community contributions from the University of Sinai for its surroundings in the land of Fayrouz to contribute to the development of the Sinai community as an integral part of the soil of this dear homeland.
