Hosting a Delegation from Huawei International Company at Sinai University (Kantara Branch)
in Preparation for Establishing a Huawei Academy at the University
In continuation of efforts of Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science, Sinai University, Kantara Branch, to train its students on the needs of the labor market and to graduate human cadres that will be an addition to the field of information technology in the Egyptian and global market. Sinai University hosted a delegation from Huawei International Company, Egypt Branch, consisting of Eng. Asmaa Serag, Executive Director of Huawei Academy, as well as Eng. Amani Saeed, the company’s training manager, and they were received by Prof. Gehan Fekry, the university president, Prof. Emad Hamed, the university vice president for education and student affairs, Prof. Ahmed Fouad, the faculty dean, Associate Prof. Mohamed El-Telbani, the faculty vice dean for education and student affairs, and Dr. Maysa Khalil, the faculty’s training center director. Both parties agreed to establish the Huawei Academy at the university to be a center for training students from inside and outside the university in Kantara and Sinai areas. Then the delegation moved to give an introductory lecture about the company, its activities, and the competitions in which it participates at the local and international levels.
