Participation of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science in a Student Program at the Aqaba University of Technology in Jordan on Preparing Leaders of Artificial Intelligence and Information Warfare
Under the generous patronage of her Excellency Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and in the interest of the university administration in the permanent development of its students and their continuous participation in international forums as representatives of their university, the student Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Hadi from the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science, Arish Branch, participated in the fifth training program for leaders in artificial intelligence and information warfare during the period from September 8 to 12, 2024.
Which was selected in the Jordanian city of Aqaba and the Institute of Leadership Preparation in cooperation with the Association of Arab Universities and the Joint University of Aqaba, under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, the Jordanian Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Muhammad Al-Washah, President of Aqaba University of Technology, and Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Student Activities and Director of the Institute of Leadership Preparation.
The program aims to qualify successful leaders worldwide, and seeks to provide useful information about artificial intelligence, information security, and the impact of information warfare on our world today. The lectures were delivered by a group of distinguished professors.
Participants were selected from 16 Arab countries, including Egypt, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Kuwait, Somalia, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Libya and Yemen. This diversity contributed to emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation and facing challenges in the field of artificial intelligence, information and digital leadership in the modern era.
