Grants and discounts are provided to students to achieve the following objectives:
First: Grants and Discounts Aimed at the Students of North Sinai and Ismailia Governorates:
1- Students of Central Sinai can benefit from a 100% discount on the total fees, which are:
This is in addition to 250 L.E. that is disbursed by the university to the student, provided that he/she was born in Central Sinai and granted all his/her pre-university degrees (primary, preparatory, and general/Azhar secondary) from North Sinai Governorate. This aims at contributing to developing that important part of Sinai.
This total discount continues for the following academic years of the student only in case that his/her CGPA is (2) or higher. This discount is available at:
2- Students of North Sinai Governorate can benefit from a 15% discount on the total fees if one of the following conditions is met:
This total discount continues for the following academic years of the student only in case that his/her CGPA is (2) or higher. This discount is available at all the faculties of Al-Arish Branch.
3- Students of North Sinai and Ismailia Governorates can benefit from a 50% discount on the total fees if one of the following conditions is met:

Second: Grants and Discounts Aimed at Gifted Students in the General or Azhar Secondary School Degrees:
Gifted students that have their secondary (general or Azhar) school degree in the same year of applying to the university can benefit from a discount only for the first year of joining (only the first two semesters, not the Summer Course) according to their total score in the secondary (general or Azhar) school degree. The percentages according to which discounts are granted are revised annually according to the minimum score required for joining each faculty, as stipulated by The Supreme Council of Private and National Universities. Also, a detailed table that indicates the percentages is prepared annually.
Third: Grants and Discounts Aimed at Gifted Students in the University:

This discount is canceled retrospectively and paid as a debt in case the student withdraws from the university.
Fourth: Grants and Discounts Aimed at the Top Student of the Faculties:
In the case that no single student gets a CGPA of (4) on any level in any faculty, the student with the highest CGPA gets a 100% discount (of the tuition fees only), provided that his/her CGPA is (3.6) or higher.
In the case that two students get the highest and the same CGPA, the discount is equally split between both of them.
In the case that three or more students get the highest and the same CGPA, they can benefit from the discounts of the gifted student (discussed in the Third Section above) according to their CGPA.
Fifth: Other Grants and Discounts:
1- A 25% discount on the tuition fees is aimed at those whose fathers are (armed forces or police martyrs. In this case, the student’s CGPA should be (3) or higher to keep this discount for the following years.
2- A 15% discount on the tuition fees is aimed at those whose fathers work in armed forces or police. This discount is available only for one academic year.
3- A 25% discount on the tuition fees is aimed at those whose fathers work for the university (academic and administrative staff). This discount continues for the following academic years of the student only in case that his/her CGPA is (3) or higher.
4- A 15% discount on the tuition fees is aimed at those whose fathers work as academic staff of other governmental universities. This discount is available only for one academic year.
5- A 25% discount on the tuition fees is aimed at students with disabilities. In this case, the student is required to present medical or governmental statements that report the disabilities. The student also is required to go through a medical examination by the medical department of the university. This discount continues for the following academic years of the student only in case that his/her CGPA is (3) or higher.
6- A 15% discount on the tuition fees is aimed at athletically inclined students that achieved one of the top three places in a national championship. In this case, the student is required to present his/her championship certificate attested by the Ministry of Youth and Sports or Ministry of Education. This discount is available only for one academic year.
7- A 30% discount on the tuition fees is aimed at athletically inclined students that achieved one of the top three places in an international championship. In this case, the student is required to present his/her championship certificate attested from the Ministry of Youth and Sports or Ministry of Education. This discount continues for the following academic years of the student only in case that his/her CGPA is (3) or higher.
8- A 15% discount on the tuition fees is aimed at a currently enrolled student’s siblings (regardless of how many they are), but not the currently enrolled student himself/herself. In case that there are siblings that are accepted for the same academic year, the discount is only applied to the student accepted in the faculty with the higher fees. This discount continues for the following academic years regardless of his/her CGPA. Also, this discount continues only when the other sibling remains enrolled in the university during the same semester. The only exceptions for this are the cases in which:
This discount is also applicable for siblings in the two branches of the university. In this case, the student is required to present a statement that shows that his sibling is already enrolled in the other branch during the same semester. This is accomplished by the coordination between the two branches.
9- A 5% discount on the tuition fees is aimed at those who pay the full academic year fees (counting for 35 credit hours) during the grace period of the first installment with no fines. This discount can be applied in parallel with other discounts mentioned above, provided that the other is not a 100% discount. This 5% discount is only applied during the due date of the fourth installment of the same year.
1- All aforementioned discounts are available only for Egyptians.
2- All discounts are applicable only for Fall and Spring semesters.
3- It is not applicable to benefit from two discounts at once (except for the 5% discount discussed in Article 2, Fifth, 9), and if two discounts are available to a student, the higher one is applied.
4- All discounts are applicable only for the regular periods of study in the various faculties in which each student is enrolled, and they are as follows:
