ELC Recruitment Day Welcomes New Members to the ELC Family

Under the gracious patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University; Prof. Dr. Abdelhamid Abdo, Vice President of Sinai University for Education and Student Affairs at the Arish Campus; and Prof. Dr. Soliman Fatouh, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, and under the supervision of Dr. Osama Salah, Head of the English Language Department, the English Language Club (ELC) Team organized an ELC Recruitment Day on October 12, 2026, in front of the Faculty of Pharmacy building to welcome new members and introduce students to the club’s activities and mission.

ELC aims to help students improve their English language skills in a light, enjoyable, and interactive environment, away from the pressure of traditional lectures and classroom learning. The event began with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the club, followed by a variety of interactive games and activities, including word games, quizzes, icebreakers, and speaking challenges. These activities encouraged students to communicate in English, build their confidence, and connect with other members in a friendly atmosphere.

Throughout the day, ELC team members explained the club’s activities and highlighted the benefits of joining its educational community. The event concluded with a registration process and a question-and-answer session, giving interested students the opportunity to learn more and become part of the ELC family.
