The Knowledge Economy and Investing in Scientific Research Outputs for the Development of Sinai

Under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Dr. Jehan Fekry, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs at the Arish branch, a special lecture was held by Prof. Dr. Essam Khamis, Head of the Interdisciplinary Studies Sector at the Supreme Council of Universities and Advisor to the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities.

The event was attended by deans of the university’s faculties, staff members, and teaching assistants. The lecture, titled “The Knowledge Economy and Investing in Scientific Research Outputs for the Development of Sinai,” took place on Sunday, February 16, at the Faculty of Engineering.

The lecture covered the evolution of universities from the first to the fourth generation, transitioning from education and scientific research to the utilization and investment of learning outcomes. It also highlighted the significant progress Sinai University has achieved in international university rankings and its contributions to fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
