The Second Scientific Conference of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacognosy
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Jehan Fekri, Sinai University President and With the honor and presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hesham Aly Salem, the Vice Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Marzouk, and a number of faculty members and their assistants. The scientific departments (Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacognosy) headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Omar, Ass. Prof. Dr. Heba Yassin and Ass. Prof. Dr. Mostafa Hegazy. A number of scientific lectures was held in partnership with faculty members of the mentioned departments and distinguished student participation in all departments on Sunday, 28/4/2024, and a number of topics were discussed, such as the role of pharmaceutical chemistry in discovering a new drug with distinctive properties, as well as the role of manufacturing cosmetics using natural materials without side effects, and a number of students made a website to promote their products via the Internet, and there was also a lecture to know the effect of nanotechnology on drug delivery and the exploitation of natural materials, and paragraphs to present the scientific achievements of these departments and honoring a number of faculty members and the assisting body for their promotion and honoring outstanding students in the scientific subjects of these departments, as well as honoring laboratory secretaries and distinguished workers.
