Where Learning Meets the Market: Digital Marketing in Practice | Media Students’ Projects

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and as part of the university’s commitment to supporting applied education and aligning academic learning with labor market needs, students of the Integrated Marketing Communications Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication launched their digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms.

The campaigns were developed and implemented within the Digital Marketing course, where students designed fully integrated marketing strategies for newly created brands, informed by real market needs and audience analysis. The projects included:

  • Waqaar, a brand specializing modestly for veiled women,
  • Naqaa, a natural cosmetic brand aimed at supporting individuals living with vitiligo,
  • Brain Box, an innovative space designed to support thinking, working, and studying.

The projects demonstrated students’ strong ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical digital marketing applications, through conducting market research, identifying target audiences, building clear brand identities, and developing appropriate digital content strategies.

This initiative reaffirms the Faculty of Mass Communication at Sinai University’s commitment to providing a comprehensive, applied-learning experience that prepares graduates with the skills and competencies needed to meet the evolving demands of the labor market.
