Academic Advising Lecture

Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdou, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lotfy Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Dr. Mostafa Hegazy, Vice Dean of the Faculty, the Quality Assurance Unit organized a cultural meeting to promote the culture of quality. This event was held in preparation for the upcoming visit of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, scheduled for Sunday, 28/12/2025.

Dr. Moamen Salem delivered an awareness lecture for faculty members and their assistants at the Faculty of Pharmacy entitled “Academic Advising.” A constructive discussion took place between Dr. Moamen Salem and the faculty members and their assistants in an atmosphere of friendliness and mutual respect. The following points were covered during the meeting:

Academic advising on the UNICODE system.
The necessity of adhering to the academic bylaws when registering courses for students.
The importance of reviewing the student’s academic record during course registration.
Giving priority to courses in which the student had previously failed to avoid negatively affecting the student’s cumulative GPA.
