A Cooperation Protocol between the Faculty of Engineering, Arish Branch, and Bir al-Abd City Council

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University and Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

The Faculty of Engineering – Sinai University (Arish Branch) is proud to announce the signing of a cooperation protocol with the Municipal Council of Bir Al-Abd, the protocol was signed on Monday, April 14, 2025.  This initiative comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between academic institutions and local executive bodies, and to reinforce the university’s role in community service and local development.

The signing ceremony was held at the City Council, where Mr. Mohamed Ali – Head of Bir Al-Abd City, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Bassiouny – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, signed the agreement. The protocol aims to promote knowledge exchange, provide field training opportunities for students within the council departments, and contribute to the implementation of various developmental projects under the city’s investment plan.

This collaboration reflects Sinai University’s commitment to supporting the local community and advancing sustainable development, while also reinforcing the strong sense of belonging shared with the people of Sinai and integrating academic knowledge with practical experience.
