The Faculty of Mass Communication, Arish branch held a workshop entitled “The Basics of a TV Reporter Work” in the presence of Dr. Faraj Darwish, Acting Dean of the faculty, faculty members and faculty students, and hosted by Mr. Ahmed Hussein, Director of Al-Arabi Channel office in Cairo and who worked as a reporter for a number of national and international channels. He also worked as a director of reporters’ department at Extra News Channel, where he participated in covering the important events in Egypt since 2010; Mr. Ahmed Mahran, a reporter for Sky News Arabia in Cairo, Mr. Assem Ghorab, cameraman for Sky News Arabia in Cairo and Mr. Ahmed Abu Daraa, a TV reporter.

The workshop covered the following topics:

– Who is a reporter?

– Showing videos about how a reporter works.

-Types of TV reports.

– TV reporter tools.
